How could I not stumble? How could I not fall? Do those thoughts torment your soul? With all the temptations, with all the false teachings, with so many people against God—and against me—how could I not fall?
Because it doesn’t depend on you. Because you aren’t the one holding yourself up. God is! “To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen” (Jude 24-25). God is able to keep you from stumbling, until the day he takes you home with Jesus. So fall. Fall onto God and his grace each and every day.
