Undoubtable Love

“Jesus loves you.” That simple statement is at the heart of Christianity. Jesus loves you!

Yet, that simple statement is incredibly hard to believe. Do you feel loved today? Often, we feel neglected or alone. Then you think about your past. Your failures. Your sins. Your broken relationships. All the people who don’t love you. How could Jesus love you?

Here’s how you can be sure: “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32). God our Father gave up his Son Jesus for you. If God was willing to do that for you, does he love you? Yes! Jesus was willing to die on the cross to forgive all your sins. If Jesus was willing to do that for you, does he love you? Absolutely!

Jesus loves you. That’s true for you, even if it seems like everyone else has turned against you. Not Jesus. Jesus loves you! That’s true for you, even when you feel guilty for your sins. Jesus came into our world to take your sins away. Jesus loves you! That’s true for you, even when you struggle to love yourself. Look at Jesus’ cross. There can be no doubt. Jesus loves you!

If Jesus did the biggest thing for you by dying for you on the cross, he will take care of everything else you need too. Trust in Jesus’ undoubtable love.
